Quality-aware intake
Effective resolution, blur, skew, crop, glare and compression determine which analysis lanes are defensible.
Legacy-safe verification
Faded photocopies, regional-language forms and older formats can bypass inappropriate template scoring.
Identity extraction
Name, DOB, parent names, roll/enrolment identifiers and other fields feed the cross-document identity graph.
Source routing
Official results/verification routes are preferred when lawfully accessible.
Progressive requests
Only the affected page or credential is re-requested when quality or evidence is insufficient.
EVIDENCE MODEL
Old or low-quality does not mean fake.
A readable document can still proceed through OCR, logical and source checks even when forensic confidence is reduced. Legacy/non-standard documents can explicitly be marked “forensics not applicable / source verification required.”
- 400 DPI colour preferred for applicant scans; 300 DPI is the normal minimum target
- Lower-quality uploads may still proceed with reduced forensic confidence
- Original digital issuer PDFs should be preserved unchanged rather than rescanned
- Backside capture remains optional by default and becomes a targeted escalation tool
